Last Friday, 15.07. a summary of the activities undertaken during the festival by a group of great volunteers was held in our Youth Centre. Without volunteers it would have been impossible to prepare such a wonderful and professional event. There were memories, medals, thanks and a delicious cake prepared especially for this occasion.
Once again THANK YOU - the whole team of folk volunteers , those who were at the meeting, as well as those who had already left to have a holiday break.
Together we made Folk Inspirations become commonplace in areas in Lodz –in the street, in the studio, on stage, on the catwalk – and in the hearts of the audience and young artists from 15 countries of the world. We proved that folk unites people, generations, cultures, and is a great platform for creative dialogue between tradition and modernity. And what is equally important – you think IT WAS WORTH IT!
It is thanks to you that once again the words of Helder Camer came true: “If there is only one man who has a dream – it is only a dream. But if we all have the same dream, it is the beginning of a new reality“.

Those who could not attend the meeting, in September you will be able to collect the thank-you letter and a cerificate of voluntary activities from our Youth Centre.
