Julian Tuwim Youth Centre in Lodz has been among the most creative, imaginative and active institutions of the year 2016. During the XXX Summary of Innovative Movement in Education Gala we have received Certificate of Innovation and the statuette “Wings of Imagination”.
An important part of the festival are the GOLDEN BOAT competitions. This year’s edition is described in the new regulations available at our website. All young artists interested in taking part in the 2016 GOLDEN BOAT – VOCAL, – CHOREOGRAPHY, – PHOTO or –DESIGN Competition are recommended to read the regulations carefully.
This year’s festival competition for the Bronze, Silver and Golden Boats will be held in the following categories: vocal, choreography, photography and design. The new element of the competition rules is, in addition to the artistic presentation in front of the jury, assessment of the groups’ and individual participants’ activity during the festival events in urban spaces and on festival stages.

Since our last meeting at the 5th Jubilee International Festival of Youth Creativity Folk Inspirations, 7 long months have passed. We still keep the memories of a wonderful inaugural performance at Manufaktura square, common international fun in historical revitalised venues of Lodz as part of the “Lodz Goes Folk” action, the Golden Boat contests and the beautiful Gala Concert at Wytwórnia Club.
